The April issue of
Real Living popped into my radar last night and of course I am in love yet once again! Every little bit of this magazine is oozing with eye candy from real homes to cool little DIY ideas. Love these headboard DIY's to start off. Above: A wooden frame with drilled holes and a bit of fluro (bungee?) rope.
Below - another clever headboard idea using pegboard (they used three pieces - slightly wider than the width of the bed to provide added impact). And as they suggest - the pegboard is a great spot to hang photos and small artworks. (Or maybe even clip a light to it)?
Above: A great little vignette. Love the home of Jaynie and Nathan Johnson of
Blacklist Studio. Their art display especially - all the pieces work so well - and the placement reminds me of the way the late
Margaret Kilgallen displayed her work for her art shows. Love.
And some cool finds below from that crazy
Favourite Things Pendant (fill it with your favourite treasures) to the Roadie wardrobe from
Soundslike Home.
Pssst! You can see a slideshow of their home at Real Livings site
here. The April issue of Real Living can be downloaded digitally through iTunes for the iPad (or iPhone/iPod touch with iOS4) only using the
Magshop app. Click
here to link up! You can also order the print version
